HUNTERS

Photo editor

Can I edit my listing photos on Hunters Auctions?

Yes. Every Hunters member can crop, straighten and rotate photos right in the listing form - tap ✂ Edit on any photo. Hunters Plus and Business members also get the background studio: the phone itself cuts the item out of the photo, then you can blur the room away, drop the item onto clean white, or stage it on a scene like a workbench or kitchen bench. Nothing is uploaded while you edit - all of it happens on your own device.

Cropping - free for everyone

Open any photo with ✂ Edit while you list. Drag to move, pinch or scroll to zoom, rotate in quarter turns, and pick a square, wide or tall frame. Cropped photos are saved as tidy, right-sized files - so a huge phone photo that would blow the 8MB upload limit simply works after a crop.

The background studio - Plus & Business

The clever part runs entirely on your phone: a small on-device model finds your item and lifts it off the background. From there, choose Blur room (the scene stays, softened), clean White, Studio or Creamsweeps, or stage the item on a scene from the backdrop library - a workbench for tools, a bench top for kitchen gear. Suggested scenes appear first based on your item's category, and you can search the library. The first photo takes a few seconds while your phone fetches its one-time toolkit; after that it's quick.

Your photos stay yours

Editing happens in your browser - the photo isn't sent anywhere until you save it to your listing. There's no per-photo fee and no cloud processing.

The one rule

Backgrounds may be edited; the item may not. Don't retouch scratches away or hide flaws - anything in your condition report must stay visible in the photos. A clean background sells the item; an honest photo protects the sale.
