Is there a buyer's premium at Hunters Auctions?
No. Hunters Auctions charges no buyer's premium and no seller commission — the hammer price is exactly what the winner pays and exactly what the seller receives. Listing is free.
What buyers pay
The hammer price. That's it — no buyer's premium on top, which at traditional auction houses runs 15–25%. At launch, sales settle as cash at pickup: you inspect the item in person before any money changes hands. Some sellers ask the winner for a deposit by PayID to lock the sale in; that's always shown on the item page before you bid, and it comes off what you pay at handover.
What sellers pay
Nothing to list and no commission on the sale. Free accounts run up to 7 items at once. The site is funded by optional extras that never touch the auction itself: clearly labelled visibility boosts, and Plus and Business plans for people who sell a lot.
Why boosts never affect bidding
A boosted item gets seen more — top of its category and the homepage Featured strip, always labelled “Boosted”. Bidding, pricing and closing rules are identical for every item, boosted or not.
